“With weaker-than-expected economic growth in the most recent quarter, it is clear that cuts to key programs like SNAP and Medicaid, along with rising health insurance premiums and other prices, are coming at a time when hardworking Nebraskans simply cannot afford it.

“We were promised lower prices on day one of the Trump Administration and the Republican-controlled Congress, but we have seen the exact opposite in the last 18 months. Congressmen Don Bacon and Mike Flood have continually voted to raise costs for those who desperately need relief.”
