Nebraska For Us statement as tariffs increase grocery and energy prices

“From the grocery store to home heating and cooling, prices are going up for working class and middle income Nebraskans trying to make it to their next paycheck. Tariffs are increasing prices on almost everything, and it’s getting worse by the day.

“With the vast majority of Americans already stressed about the price of groceries, any price increases only make the problem worse. Congressman Don Bacon had multiple opportunities this year to stop these price increases, but he voted for the Republican tariffs instead.

“Inflation is rising, and prices are not coming down as Congressman Bacon promised. His constituents need relief. He should act to lower prices now!”
