Nebraska For Us statement ahead of House vote to restore health care tax credits

“For Nebraskans across the state, the health care cliff has already come and gone with premiums more than doubling. Congressmen Don Bacon and Mike Flood should have acted already, but now is the next best time to vote in favor of restoring tax credits to make health care more affordable.

“Some have chosen to pay much more for health insurance while others have opted to give up care altogether. You can find affordability challenges just about everywhere thanks to Congressional Republicans, and we need our federal officials to take the necessary steps to help lower costs rather than allowing them to continue rising.”
